Kiwano - African Horned Cucumber
gu72 (Cucumis metaliferus)
Heat-loving, fruity and sweet exotic fruit. The plant produces about 10cm long fruit with coarse spines. They are ripe when the skin turns yellow-orange and soft. After-ripening fruit which can be stored at room temperature for a very long time. Popular with children.
